Poisoned
I trusted you fully,
My mind like clay.
Hoping your advice,
Would be here to stay
You wiggled and dangled,
A hope and a dream.
And took things from me,
“ahhh” I could scream
You lied about love,
And honesty too.
How in the world,
Did I ever trust you.
You came in like a storm,
all clouded and gray.
Unfurling like Clouds,
And lightning to stay.
Turned upside down,
When I knew to be true.
Turning my thoughts,
Into its circus or zoo.
You took a trust,

away from me.
Moving me wrong,
About what a friend should be.
You drove a wedge between,
Me and my love.
Told me to leave,
The stars up above,
Consistency,
Faith,
Balance,
Beloved.
Devil’s whispers,
And demon’s breath.
Seep from the dragon.
Tongue of death.
You shouldn’t be saying,
These things out loud.
Your heart is a monster.
Like death.
They shroud.
